About Solutions4Living, Inc.

S4L's goal is to equip and mobilize the Christian community to impact the lives of people with the message of the Gospel, help people overcome life-controlling problems, begin a life of discipleship and connect them with a local Bible believing church. S4L is doing this through the implementation of training seminars, workshops and faith-based community small groups facilitated by a team of trained volunteers.

S4L's ministry focus is RECOVERY from substance abuse and behavior addictions; RESTORING FAMILIES who struggle with abusive relationships and RESTORING COMMUNITIES that are impacted by the drug epidemic and breakdown of the family.

This ministry began in 2008 when Dennis & Debbie McDonald founded Scott County Lifeline. It later became known as Living Free Scott County. In 2016, greater vision and expansion plans for the ministry led to their incorporation as Soutions4Living, Inc. It continues as a Living Free Community ministry ally.

Over the years the volunteer team of leaders and facilitators has seen approximately 1000 registrations for the faith-based groups offered.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2Timothy
3:16; 2 Peter 1:20--‐21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25‐26).

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16‐17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7‐11).

We believe in the deity of Christ, in the virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1,14, 20:28; 1Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5‐6; 1Timothy 2:5).

We believe that Biblical salvation is God's way of providing people deliverance from spiritual death through repentance and faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8‐9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9‐10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22).

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. (Joel 2:28‐29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5, 2:1‐4, 17, 38‐39, 8:14‐17, 10:38, 44‐47, 11:15‐17, 19:1‐6).

We believe in the resurrection of both the lost and saved according to the Bible; the lost unto eternal damnation, the saved unto eternal life. (Luke 24:16, 36, 39; John 2:19‐21, 20:26‐28, 21:4; Acts 24:15; 1 Corinthians 15:42, 44; Philippians 1:21‐23, 3:21).

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19‐22;
Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20‐23).
